Mark 4 Design can produce prototypes for you either as part of an overall design package or direct from your own 3D files. Our Envisiontec Perfactory RP machine has a resolution of 0.04 mm ( one of the highest resolutions available from an RP machine) for intricate, highly detailed prototypes.

We also produce masters (or patterns) for your casting needs. We factor in the shrinkage allowance that you need and can produce a master in polyacrylic, brass or bronze or even silver for use as an EDM electrode.
A selection of solid model file types that we can work with includes:
- STL
- IGES
- STEP
- SAT
- Parasolid
Software packages such as Solidworks, Inventor, Solid Edge, Alibre and ProEngineer are all capable of outputting suitable file formats.
We can also work with meshes and surfaces (such as those from Rhino and 3D studio, although they often involve a lot more work to make them suitable for building.
